This week, we had two business visits and two work days. On Monday, we had a workday at the CAVE, where we worked on writing our 30-second pitches for the National Pitch Competition. I had to improve my pitch quite a bit after the feedback because it was too short and too bland. I needed something extra. I also set up an Instagram account for Mama Judy’s. On Tuesday, we visited City Hall and spoke with Mayor Patty Gregory. She was a very kind and polite person. We did a walkthrough of a City Council Meeting and how it all goes down during the meeting. I missed class on Wednesday, but I heard the stress relief day with Geri Boyer was very fun and relaxing. On Thursday, we had our second workday of the week. We drew up scene-by-scene pictures of how our 30-second commercial was going to go. I had a few good ideas from my longline but I had to revise some of the ideas and scenes. On Friday, we visited the St. Clair Country Club to learn dining and golf etiquette. This was one of the most fun, interesting visits we’ve been on all year. I absolutely thought it was amazing. I don’t know why but I liked the visit a lot. We even got to putt on the green, though I missed my putt. Overall, it was a good, fun week.
